JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – No. 16 North Florida beach volleyball handled Austin Peay and North Alabama at the ASUN Midseason Tournament on Friday, held at The Cooper Beach Volleyball Complex. 
 
North Florida has won six-straight duals and improved to 8-0 on its home sand this season. North Florida swept Austin Peay, 5-0, and outlasted back-and-forth action with North Alabama, 3-2. 
 
North Florida took four of the five courts in straight sets in its match with Austin Peay. Junior tandem Presley Murray and Mackenzie Murphy claimed the top court, 21-6, 21-17, while senior Mariana Feliciano Sanchez and junior Madison Espy earned a 21-9, 21-16 win at two. Sophomore Cameron Humphries and senior Taylor Pierce made their season pair debut with 21-14 margins in both sets at the third slot. Senior pair Andrea Da Silva and Hayden Wooldridge posted a three-set win, 21-18, 20-22, 15-6, at the four spot. Sophomore Eden Anderson and redshirt sophomore Sophia Notaro turned in a 21-11, 21-12 win at the five line. 
 
In back-and-forth action with North Alabama, Da Silva and Wooldridge recorded a 21-7, 21-15 win at four. After North Alabama responded back with a win at five, Humphries and Pierce reclaimed the lead at 21-12, 21-13 at three to make it 2-1. Feliciano Sanchez and Espy clinched the dual with 21-12, 21-13 win at the two line. 

Feliciano Sanchez and Espy has recorded an undefeated 10-0 on the season.
