LEXINGTON, Ky. – North Florida beach volleyball earned its highest ranking in program history at No. 14 in the week 10 edition of the 2025 AVCA Collegiate Beach Coaches Top 20 Poll.
North Florida previously eclipsed its highest ranking at No. 15 in the week four edition of the poll. The Ospreys have been ranked in the poll each week this season for the first time in program history.
North Florida has totaled a program-record 26 wins this season and recently captured its sixth overall and second-straight Atlantic Sun Championship title to earn automatic qualification to the 2025 NCAA Championship.
It marks the second-straight and second-ever appearance in the NCAA Championship for North Florida. North Florida heads to the NCAA Championship as the No. 12 seed, in addition to one of eight non-Power Four and one of 16 teams on the national stage. The No. 12 seed is a program-best for North Florida after it was slotted at No. 16 last season.
North Florida will face No. 5 seed USC in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship on Friday, May 2 at 10 a.m. ET in Gulf Shores, Ala. The dual will be aired on ESPN2.
