Allendesalazar Notches Second ASUN Golfer of the Week

JACKSONVILLE - Casilda Allendesalazar earned her second ASUN Women's Golfer of the Week award, as announced by the league office on Thursday.
The senior had a stellar start to the spring season with a 1-under 215 score at the Puerto Rico Classic to place 11th overall among the 18-team field. She faced off against 11 Power Four teams as well to reach her 25th top-25 finish of her career.
"CA's played some really good golf in a good field last week," said Director of Golf Scott Schroeder on Allendesalazar's spring debut. "Hope this is a start to a great spring for her."
The Ospreys have now won four ASUN Golfer of the Week honors over their first five events in the 2024-25 season. Kaitlyn Schroeder joins Allendesalazar in weekly honors for UNF, as they each hold two through the first event of the spring.
Allendesalazar and the Ospreys will have a month to prepare for hosting its home tournament with the Momentum Transportation UNF Collegiate coming up from Mar. 3-4 at Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.
