JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's tennis had momentum across their home courts in singles play, but weren't able to pull of a victory against Florida Atlantic on Wednesday afternoon at UNF Tennis Complex.

After the Ospreys dropped its doubles point, they saw some success from their top courts in the first set of singles. Andreas Scott and Joao Portugal reached picked up opening-set wins and kept making progress in the second set as well.

UNF went into tiebreakers in the first set of the second and fifth courts, as Portugal was able to take the first-to-seven set, 7-4, but Deloziere fell just short in his tiebreaker, 7-5. A crop of straight-set defeats from courts three, four and six ended the match with a 4-0 result in a play-to-clinch match final.
