Men's Tennis Falls In Singles to Portland

Box Score SEATTLE, Wash. - North Florida men's tennis picked up the doubles point to start its West Coast weekend, but fell in the late stages of singles play, 4-1, against Portland on Friday evening.

The Ospreys earned the point in doubles competition with the pairings of Andreas Scott and Bruno Vietri, along with Joao Portugal and Chase Healey, each going 6-4. Scott and Vietri each had a chance to win a three-set battle on courts one and two of singles, but the rest of the flock fell in straight sets in what was a victory for the Pilots.
