Box Score TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - North Florida men's tennis dropped its second consecutive match in as many days to No. 16 South Carolina, 4-0, on Saturday afternoon.
The Ospreys faced their second top-16 opponent of the season, but fell in similar fashion in the ITA Kickoff finale. UNF had four freshman in play for singles once again, including a first-set victory from
Joao Portugal.
Portugal took the first set against the Gamecocks' fifth player, 6-4, but went unfinished in the second set. The Ospreys had chances in the first and second sets of singles to make their mark, but could not get the job done on neutral grounds.
