JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's tennis heads to The Palmetto State to face Furman and Charleston Southern for a pair of weekend matches.

North Florida battles Furman on Friday, Jan. 24, at 3 p.m., at the Mickel Tennis Center in Greenville, S.C. UNF will square off with Charleston Southern on Sunday, Jan. 26, at 1 p.m., at the Gary Clark Banks Sr. Tennis Center in Charleston, S.C.

The Ospreys handled the Paladins, 4-2, and Buccaneers, 4-3, this season at the UNF Tennis Center. Freshman Nicole Alfaro Solis looks to continue her strong spring start after she secured her court in straight sets, 7-5, 7-6, in the Ospreys season opener defeat at No. 19 Florida.

Like UNF, Furman and Charleston Southern battled SEC opponents in their season openers. Furman enters Friday 1-0 on its season after it defeated Alabama, 4-3, while Charleston Southern is 0-1 after it fell, 5-0, to No. 20 South Carolina. Charleston Southern will look to rebound when it hosts Lee-McRae prior to Sunday's match.

The 10-time ASUN Tournament and seven-time ASUN Regular Season champion North Florida was tabbed to finish second in the 2025 ASUN Preseason Poll with 78 points.

The Ospreys are in their sixth season under two-time ASUN Coach of the Year Catherine Dunagan, who entered the spring with a 73-35 record and has guided the Ospreys to three ASUN Regular Season titles, two ASUN Tournament titles, an NCAA Tournament win and the program's NCAA Tournament Singles and Doubles appearances.
