Men's Basketball Notches Road Win at Queens

Harris Drops 31 Points, Driscoll Coaches 500th Game

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Freshman forward Josh Harris poured in a career-high 31 points to lead North Florida men's basketball past Queens (N.C.), 90-81, inside Curry Arena on Thursday.

Harris finished with 31 points on 12-20 from the field and 2-3 from three, in addition to nine rebounds in 29 minutes. It marked a career-high and the first game with 30 or more points for Harris.

Sophomore guard Jasai Miles added 17 points on 8-17 from the field with a career-high 13 rebounds in 34 minutes. It marked the 14th-straight game with 10 or more points and 18 of 20 games reaching the mark for Miles this season.

Sophomore guard Jaylen Smith dished out 13 points and 10 assists in 33 minutes, his second point-assist double-double of this season. It marked the third game this season with 10 or more assists for Smith. North Florida dominated inside the paint with 50 points.
 
FIRST HALF: Freshman forward Josh Harris scored the Ospreys' first 10 points...graduate forward Liam Murphy knocked down a three from the left corner to secure North Florida a 14-13 lead heading into the under-12 media timeout...the score was knotted at 23 at the under-8 media timeout...trailing 32-26, Ospreys went on a 17-2 run over a 3:33 minute stretch late in the first half to build a 43-34 lead with 1:01 minutes left before halftime...UNF took a 43-36 lead into the half. Harris finished with 18 points and eight rebounds in the first half.
 
SECOND HALF: Harris scored seven of the first 10 points for the Ospreys out of the break...UNF led 53-48 at the under-16 media timeout...the Royals took the lead at 57-56 on an and-one finish at the 13:54 mark of the second half...UNF took a 72-71 lead at the under-8 media timeout...Harris turned in 13 points on 6-8 from the field, while Smith added 10 points and six assists in the second half...the Ospreys finished the game on a 12-0 run over the final 2:27 and converted on their final four possessions of the game.
