TAMPA, Fla. - North Florida volleyball wrapped up the weekend in Tampa against NC State as the Ospreys dropped a 3-0 decision to the Wolfpack Friday, Sept. 13.

Series History
It's the first meeting between North Florida and any of the three teams the Ospreys face this weekend

National Level

• Amy Burkhardt ranks second in the nation in kills, having a hot start that has seen her reach double-digit kills in 11 of 12 matches
• Burkhardt has also tallied five double-doubles
• Setter Annie Antar finished last weekend fifth in the NCAA in assists, notching 331 through 10 matches

Mieles Starts off Strong
Freshman libero Kamila Mieles has performed early on in her UNF career, tallying 2.74 digs/ set, 19 assists and 10 aces through her first 10 matches in the Navy and Gray.

Challenging Stretch

• North Florida is in the midst of a stretch that sees it play six matches against either a P4 or G5 foe
• North Florida squares off against San Diego, a 2022 national semifinalist and alma mater of head coach Kristen Wright
• North Florida also goes up against former assistant coach, Kevin Inlow, who served on the UNF coaching staff for four seasons

Scouting Boston College

• BC is 6-3, with its wins coming against Jacksonville, Central Connecticut State, Fairfield, Iona, Eastern Kentucky and Texas Tech
• The Eagles dropped matches against Binghamton, Georgia and Utah Valley
• Halie Schroder paces the team with 3.75 kills/set
• BC is 43-26 in the last two seasons and 15-21 in the ACC during that time

Scouting San Diego

• San Diego is 2-5 against a variety of teams this season, having taken on SMU, Hawaii, St. John's, No. 16 Arizona State, UC Santa Barbara, No. 17 BYU and No. 12 Oregon
• Nemo Beach posted a career-high 22 kills to help defeat No. 17 BYU
• It was the program's first top-25 win since the fall of its national semifinalist season
• SD is coached by legendary head coach, Jennifer Petrie

• LSU is 6-2 and entering with notable wins against Maryland and Duke
• Jurnee Robinson and UNF's Amy Burkhardt are right up there with the nation's best among total kills
