JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball (26-12, 10-2 ASUN) was led by
Allison Benning from both sides of the ball to complete the series sweep in shutout fashion against Kennesaw State (10-29, 2-10 ASUN) on Sunday afternoon at UNF Softball Complex.
Benning capped off a career weekend with a complete-game shutout with eight strikeouts and only two hits allowed from the circle to follow up her program-record 16 strikeouts from the series opener. She also knocked in a pair of runs off two hits, including a solo shot in the fourth inning, to give her two homers against the Owls in 10 knocks on the season.
