Baseball Falls in Second Game to Lipscomb

Four Ospreys With Multi-Hit Games

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida (16-16, 6-8 ASUN) stayed in the thick of it through the first five innings, but the bullpen couldn't contain Lipscomb (11-22, 7-7 ASUN) in the defeat on Saturday afternoon at Harmon Stadium.

The Ospreys took an early 2-0 lead in the first inning, but Lipscomb responded immediately to take the lead in the second. After falling down by three in the third, a few runs were batted in highlighted by a solo shot from Jakob Runnels to tie the game.

UNF continued to score to take the one-run lead in the fifth, but the Bison hit a grand slam to go back up by three. Runnels hit another home run for his second of the game, but Lipscomb ended the game with 11 unanswered runs to take the weekend series.
