South Carolina: The Gamecocks lead the all-time series 4-3 over the Ospreys … South Carolina has won the last four matchups against UNF … the last Ospreys win over the Gamecocks came back in 2016 … UNF looks to even the series up with a fourth win on Saturday. 

Tennessee Tech: Sunday will be the first matchup in series history between UNF and Tennessee Tech. 

Eastern Kentucky: UNF leads the all-time series 1-0 … the lone matchup in the series came at the 2023 ASUN Championships quarterfinals where the Ospreys swept the Colonels 5-0 to advance to the semis.

Scouting Report

• New Orleans: The Privateers have started the season with a 4-3 record … in its first tournament, New Orleans picked up wins over Spring Hill College and Oregon … the Privateers added two more wins the next weekend against the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor and Nicholls.
• South Carolina: The Gamecocks began the campaign with four-straight losses at the Tampa Invite … South Carolina turned its fortunes around in its home opener, going an undefeated 4-0 at the Wheeler Beach Bash … the Gamecocks took down Chattanooga, Coastal Carolina, UNCW and the College of Charleston to improve to 4-4. 
• Tennessee Tech: The Golden Eagles kicked off the season going 3-1 at the Berry Kickoff … Tennessee Tech defeated the likes of LaGrange, Berry College and Erskine before dropping its final match to Carson-Newman.
• Eastern Kentucky: EKU opened the season at the Grand Sands Tournament going undefeated with wins over Liberty, Morehead State, Tusculum and Austin Peay … in its second tournament, the UAB Classic, the Colonels won against UT Martin, but dropped matches against UTEP, No. 15 Florida Atlantic and UAB, to start the year 5-3. 

• UNF is entering its 13th season in program history.
• The Ospreys are coming off a 24-win 2023 season, with multiple wins over ranked opponents including, No. 17 Stetson, No. 19 Pepperdine, and No. 20 Coastal Carolina.
• North Florida boasts a home record of 15-4 in 2023.
• North Florida's roster features twelve returners from the 2023 season.
• UNF Beach Volleyball brings on Kelly Negron from the UNF Volleyball team, who accumulated 190 digs during the 2023 season.
• Mariana Felicino-Sanchez returns with the best doubles record in UNF history (30-18).
• Doug Wright is in his third season as the head coach of the UNF beach volleyball program, while he is in his seventh season overall.
