COFFEY TALK
"We started off the first day with a lot of really good swims in session one. Paige Munna started off with a great 500 freestyle which got her back to swim in the beef final. Kayla Daley swam the eighth fastest 200 individual medley to secure seventh place and a spot in the finals. She placed eighth in the final at night and then we got to the 50 freestyle with Ashley Kephart making it back into the beef with Victoria Torres and Marcia Shaw both tied for 17th. We swam very well and we got after it. Kephart had another top 10 time in the 50 freestyle and we finished off the night with the 200 medley relay breaking the school record with Amanda Loomis, Victoria Torres, Kayla Daley, and Marcia Shaw. It was a great way to start the meet. There's three more days and we're gonna take it one session at a time, we're looking forward to tomorrow morning." -- head coach Ian Coffey
