JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Despite a pair of losses to No. 19/16 Florida (10-2), North Florida softball (6-5) brought in an attendance of 519 fans to draw its second-largest ever crowd in program history at UNF Softball Complex on Wednesday evening.

Gators got out front early and never looked back, as they scored 10 runs to finish the first game of the doubleheader in six innings. Ashley Connor had the most success of the three pitchers that saw the circle with four innings pitched and only one run allowed.
