JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball (6-3) wins its third game of the weekend hosting the UNF-JU Invitational with another low-scoring victory, 2-1, against Samford on Saturday afternoon at UNF Softball Complex.
In an early-morning game that started at 9:30 a.m., the Ospreys saw action early from
Allison Benning with an RBI double to take a 1-0 lead. The junior went on to start in the circle and pitch her second complete-game performance in as many days with a season-high 11 strikeouts.
