North Florida Improves to 2-0 With Win vs. Charleston Southern
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's basketball (2-0) shot 15-for-29 from beyond the arc, getting 23 points from Josh Harris and 21 from Jasai Miles in a 90-66 rout of Charleston Southern (0-2) in the home opener Thursday, Nov. 7.
Harris' 23 points was the most by a UNF freshman since Wajid Aminu posted 24 as a true freshman in 2016. Miles' 21 points was the most for him against a Division I opponent. The Ospreys' 90-point outburst nearly matched the program's 92-point performance against Coastal Georgia in last year's season opener.
Liam Murphy poured in five three-pointers, scoring 19 points off the bench to follow up his big day against South Carolina.
