Ospreys Complete Stretch of Four Games in Eight Days

ATHENS, Ga. - Liam Murphy poured in 22 points and four Ospreys (3-1) scored in double figures, but UGA (3-0) was able to produce at the free-throw line as North Florida's three-game winning streak to start the season was snapped.

Nate Lliteras, Josh Harris and Kamrin Oriol joined Murphy in double figures. Despite the loss, UNF tied its best start to begin a season in the program's DI era and during head coach Matthew Driscoll's tenure.

UNF also completes a stretch of four games in eight days after tallying wins at South Carolina, against Charleston Southern and at Georgia Tech.

1st Half

Kamrin Oriol had a big first half for the Ospreys, draining a trio of three-pointers to pace the Ospreys, but UGA was able to get to the foul line and shot 5-for-9 from three point range as the Bulldogs held a double-digit lead at the break.

2nd Half

UGA started the half on an 8-3 run to expand their lead despite a quick three-pointer from Nate Lliteras and a series of offensive boards from the Ospreys … Liam Murphy scored eight quick points and Lliteras found another trey from deep to cut the deficit to nine … but UGA was able to pull ahead and stay ahead.
