JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida volleyball dropped its weekend finale against FGCU Saturday, Oct. 5 as the Ospreys wrapped up a stretch of four-straight league games at home.
The Ospreys (4-14, 1-3 ASUN) went blow for blow in the first frame as the opening set saw 10 tie scores and six lead changes. FGCU (13-3, 5-0 ASUN) was able to pull ahead with work at the service line.
North Florida got out to strong starts in both of the next two sets, but FGCU replied to take the contest in three frames.
