COFFEY TALK
"This was an amazing way to start off the season with a win at home against a very good West Florida team. From the start, the tone of the meet was set with first- and second-place finishes in the 400 medley relay. We had a lot of good swims today and it was a total team effort. From freshmen to upperclassmen, everyone was focused and swam fast. Coming down to the last relay is one of the most exciting ways to win or lose a meet. The 400 free relay group of Victoria Torres, Marcia Shaw, Ashley Kephart, and Amelia Hildebrand swam one of the best races I have seen in a long time. It feels very good to get a win, but we still need to stay focused and keep improving as a team". -- head coach Ian Coffey
