Antar Goes for Monstrous 54 Assist and 20 Dig Double-Double
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida volleyball (4-13, 1-2 ASUN) dug deep to complete a reverse sweep, getting career performances from three different Ospreys to outlast Stetson (3-12, 0-4 ASUN), 3-2, in a two and a half hour battle at the UNF Arena Friday, Oct. 4.Â
Annie Antar quarterbacked the offense with 53 assists and 24 digs, Amy Burkhardt posted 20Â kills and Mackenzie Piester tallied 18 kills.Â

- Set 1: UNF took a 3-0 lead, but Stetson posted a long run to take a 16-6 lead … UNF responded with a 6-1 run to slow down Stetson … UNF continued to roar back, forcing Stetson into a timeout at 22-19 … the Hatters closed it out on a 3-0 run.
- Set 2: Kierstyn McFall and Annie Antar teamed up for a block to give UNF a 10-8 lead after a back-and-forth sequence early in the set … Stetson answered with a 4-0 run, but UNF tied it at 12-12 … once again a run ensued, with Stetson going a 3-0 run to take a three-point lead at the media timeout … North Florida stayed resilient late, going on a 4-1 run to cut the deficit to 21-20 … Stetson held on late to take the second frame.
- Set 3: Once again, UNF started off the set strong, getting two kills from Yarimar Francis Garay to take a 5-1 lead … the Ospreys hit .615 to take an 11-7 lead and force Stetson into a timeout … Stetson hung around, but Anna Butler put the set away with a kill …Â
- Set 4: The block was big in establishing a 3-0 lead in the fourth … North Florida won a key challenge late and never trailed in the fourth set, tying things up.
- Set 5: North Florida won a pair of huge challenges and hit .421 to just .000 from Stetson to complete the reverse sweep.Â
