JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's swimming is set to travel to the Peach State to compete against Georgia Southern for the 26th time in program history.
The Eagles are a familiar opponent, as this will be the third matchup between the Eagles and Ospreys this competition season. The Ospreys aim to best the Eagles for the third time this season, Saturday Jan. 27 at 11 a.m.
FROM THE STARTING BLOCK
- There will be breaks following the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard breaststroke
- The Ospreys are looking for its 10th win in program history over the Eagles
- UNF is seeking its second road win in program history at GSU
- This is the Eagles last meet of the year before they head to Orlando for the Sun Belt Conference championship
- Georgia Southern is 2-3 in head-to-head meets this year and 2-1 at home
- With an Ospreys win it would put the head-to-head record at 5-5 over its last ten meets
- After this matchup, The Ospreys will have two more meets against FGCU before heading off to the ASUN Swimming championships in Knoxville, Tenn
