JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - After holding the lead for the majority of the game, North Florida women's basketball (7-12, 1-4) ran into scoring troubles late in the fourth quarter to fall late against Bellarmine (6-12, 1-5), 69-63, on Thursday evening.
The Ospreys had three double-digit scorers led by
Jayla Adams with 19 points against the Knights. She was one point shy of her career-high of 20 that she set against South Florida, while also gaining her ninth double figuring scoring mark in the last 10 games.

First Half: The Ospreys started off hot with immediate points in a 12-2 run highlighted with a rare three-pointer from
Emma Broermann...back-to-back three pointers and a layup from Adams sparked another run of 8-0 to go up by 15 points...
Agnes Svansdottir made an impact in her first home game as an Osprey with a driving layup and three to close out the opening quarter...another pair of threes were made courtesy of
Lyric Swann to start off the second quarter...Adams returned with a pair of scores to keep a double-digit lead over the Knights...a defensive end to the half was wrapped up with Adams hitting a jumper with just over a minute left.
Second Half: Kaila Rougier took the first points out of the break with a make from distance...after an array of free throws and Adams earning another layup, UNF entered the final period with a six-point lead...Swann got the groove back for the Ospreys with a three in their first possession...Rougier kept the momentum going with an and-one bucket...after a 13-0 run was broken from Bellarmine by
Sarah Taub, they continued to score late in the fourth, as they ended the game on a 17-2 run in a 69-63 loss for UNF.

- Rougier and Swann joined Adams in the double figures with 13 and 12 points respectively.
- Svansdottir played in her first home game as an Osprey since joining the team in late December.
- The Ospreys returned to its usual starting lineup after Rougier returned from her one-game absence due to injury.
- Broermann notched 10 rebounds, which is the fifth time this season and third time in the last five games.
- She was also only three points away from a double-double performance.
