Mercer entered the match not having lost at home since Oct. 22, 2021, just one day off UNF's own home undefeated streak.

- First Half: The Ospreys piled on the pressure early, putting up four shots within five minutes … in the 12th minute, Paige McSwigan found Fugel who slotted it in the back of the net to give UNF an early advantage ….
