ORLANDO - North Florida women's soccer nearly came away with a result against No. 22 UCF, getting an equalizer from

Inside the Match
- First Half: UNF withstood some UCF chances early on .. the Knights opened the scoring after a cross into the box found the foot of Ellie Moreno for a goal in the 14th minute … Kayla Bond put up UNF's first shot, an attempt that went left of the goal in the 26th minute … the score remained 1-0 heading into the break.
- Second Half: UNF remained behind by the slimmest of margins until Lauren Weiss connected with Jersi Dadah on the wing … the forward hooked a ball perfectly on the mark for McSwigan to put away and tie things at 1-1 in the 69th minute … unfortunate for the visitors, UCF won an aerial ball of its own in the 72nd minute, getting the winner from Chloe Netzel … the Ospreys couldn't get a look late as UCF held on.
