FLORENCE, Ala. - North Florida softball (21-19, 4-10 ASUN) was able to break through with its first wins on the road, sweeping a twin bill at North Alabama (24-11, 6-8 ASUN) on Saturday afternoon.
The Ospreys were stuck in another low-scoring battle through most of the first game, until they broke through in the fifth inning and never looked back. A pair of homers to dead center in the second doubleheader lifted UNF to take both games on the road.
Both
Ashley Connor and
Izzy Kelly pitched complete games as Connor spun seven scoreless and Kelly only gave up one run to earn her 10th win of the season.
