GAINESVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball (19-19) dropped a midweek matchup at No. 15 Florida (29-10), falling 6-1 to the Gators in Gainesville.
The Ospreys kept it scoreless through two, but a three-run inning from UF in the third inning gave the hosts enough cushion to keep the lead.
Logan Jackson hit an RBI double to score a run in the seventh, but it was too late to form any kind of rally on the road.
