JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida (7-4) took a 7–0 victory over Davidson (4-7) in the home matchup Tuesday afternoon.

Kendall Nash and Annabelle Davis quickly got the momentum moving for the Ospreys with a 6-1 victory on their doubles court. Shortly after, No. 78 Kit Gulihur and Ana Paula Melilo defeated their opponents 6-2 to secure the doubles point. The final court was left unfinished.

Nash's power continued as she earned UNF its first singles point in a 6-1, 6-1 win. No. 85 Kit Gulihur dominated in a 6-1, 6-0 win in the top slot. With a 3-0 Ospreys lead, Davis clinched the win for UNF with a 6-3, 6-0 score. Despite the clinch, UNF continued to dominate with a win in two sets by Isabel Oliveira. Jasmin Makela entered a tiebreaker in her first set and won the tiebreaker, 7-0. Makela continued her force as she left her opponent scoreless in the second set. With only one court remaining, the Ospreys had a 6-0 lead over the Wildcats. Melilo won a 12-10 seven-point tiebreaker to send the final court to a ten-point tiebreaker. There, she secured a 10-6 win to finalize the 7-0 sweep for the Ospreys. 

The Ospreys will continue a busy week as they host VCU Thursday, March 9, followed by hosting USF just two days later on Saturday, March 11.
