Glover Lifts Softball to Doubleheader Split Against Troy

Totaled Five Hits, Two Home Runs

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball (10-6) won the night cap for a second-straight doubleheader after Shannon Glover mashed two home runs against Troy (13-7) to close out the Spring Break Challenge on Saturday evening at the UNF Softball Complex.

The Ospreys struggled in their first game of the afternoon after a 12-1 loss, despite three players recording multiple hits. UNF gained steam as the night went on with a five-run third inning that started with an RBI-double from Chloe Culp during UNF's 8-6 win.

Glover lit up the stat sheet in both games with two hits in the first contest, followed with three hits in the second game. She also hit solo home runs in both games, including a game-tying shot to left center in the bottom of the first.
