NASHVILLE - After leading by as much as 14 points, North Florida women's basketball (6-17, 3-10 ASUN) suffered a heart-breaking loss in its rematch with Lipscomb (17-8, 11-2 ASUN), 78-73, on the road Saturday afternoon.
The Ospreys held a commanding lead for three quarters before stalling on offense to start the fourth. The score was tied with just over seven minutes left, but a 14-9 run to close the game gave the advantage to Lipscomb late.
Lyric Swann put up the most points as an Osprey in a conference game this season with 21 points against the Bison. It was also her third game this season scoring over 20 points with the other two being against Saint Joseph's and Trinity Baptist.

Second Half: Wesolek opened the second half with back-to-back scores, followed by L. Swann putting up six straight points to give the Ospreys a 13-point advantage...Millar made her third three of the day, along with Rougier's second three to keep the lead at double digits...L. Swann earned a three-pointer of her own with under a minute left in the period to head to the fourth quarter up nine...Lipscomb found their scoring rhythm at the start of the period with nine straight to tie the game, but Rougier broke the tie with a nice layup...Livingston drove in for another layup as well to keep it a one-possession game...Rougier made clutch three down five with 20 seconds left, but late free throws from the Bison sealed the Ospreys' fate on the road.
