SWOOP Madness at The Nest

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida Athletics is excited to announce a new take on SWOOP Madness, UNF basketball's annual preseason kickoff event. SWOOP Madness '23 will combine UNF Basketball Fan Day with the annual student event, being held Thursday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. in the UNF Arena. Admission to the event will be free of charge.

SWOOP Madness gives fans an opportunity to meet the members of the men's and women's basketball teams. The evening features an interactive three-point contest with men's and women's basketball student-athletes, a dunk contest and other on-court fan contests. Giveaways will be available for fans, with a t-shirt giveaway being held for the first 250 students in attendance.

This will be the first rendition of the event held in UNF Arena and it will feature the many in-arena upgrades completed in the fall of 2022. The 2022-23 season featured new strobe lighting, upgraded sound infrastructure, the Bank of England Hospitality Suite and a brand new aesthetic to the court.

Additionally, men's and women's basketball season ticket and flex plans are on sale now.
