BOCA RATON, Fla. - North Florida women's tennis (0-1) opened its spring 2023 season at FAU (2-0) yet fell short against a tough Owls team, 5-2, January 20.

The Ospreys took the doubles point as Kit Gulihur and Ana Paula Melilo won 6-3 and Kendall Nash and Megan Forster won 6-4. 

In singles, FAU took the point in the sixth position, tying the score 1-1. FAU's Martina Kudelova took the second singles point for the Owls, although Isabel Oliveira was able to secure a singles point for the Ospreys, to even things up. The Owls went on to win the final three singles courts to hold on for the win.

The Ospreys will face Kansas State on FAU's campus tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. No live stats will be provided. Stay tuned for results following the match.
