Softball Handles Twin Bill at Jacksonville

First Back-to-Back Double-Digit Scoring Games Since 2012

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The bats were sparking at the Debbie & Fred Pruitt Softball Complex, as North Florida softball (31-11, 10-4 ASUN) put up 22 total runs to handle Jacksonville (11-20, 5-6 ASUN) in both games of a doubleheader Saturday, April 9.

The Ospreys reached the double-digit runs scored mark in back-to-back games for the first time since 2012. They also run-ruled their sixth different opponent this season, doing so for the second time against a conference foe.

UNF had strong performances from all three pitchers through both games with Morgan Clausen picking up her 10th win of the year and Halle Arends notching her sixth complete-game victory. Abi Annett had a milestone game in the first game as well, becoming the fifth Osprey in program history to have multiple home runs in the same game.
