Softball Tops Kennesaw State for Third-Straight ASUN Series Sweep

Ospreys Have Won Nine of Their Last 10 Games

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball (35-11, 14-4 ASUN) wrapped up another ASUN series with a sweep against Kennesaw State (12-25, 4-11 ASUN) at the UNF Softball Complex Saturday afternoon. This makes it their third-consecutive sweep in conference play, as well as nine wins in the past 10 games.

This is the first time in program history that the Ospreys have won three straight ASUN series since they started three-game series in 2013. It is also the first time ever that UNF has swept Kennesaw State as a conference opponent.

Halle Arends and Abi Annett both had big days in the third game of the series. Arends posted six innings in the circle with only one earned run allowed and five strikeouts, while Annett had multiple hits with three RBI to secure yet another win against the Owls.

Morgan Clausen sealed the deal with her second save of the weekend and sixth of the season.
