JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's basketball finishes out the regular season with a pair of road games against Jacksonville and Stetson. North Florida takes on JU Thursday and Stetson Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -  North Florida women's basketball (11-15, 4-10 ASUN) held one of the best shooting teams in the nation to 31 percent from long distance and Rhetta Moore put up an 11-point and 13-rebound double-double, but the Ospreys came up short against No. 25/22 FGCU (24-2, 13-1 ASUN), 63-52, on Senior Day Saturday, Feb. 19.
SERIES HISTORY
JACKSONVILLE: JU leads the all-time series, 25-12 ... the Dolphins won the last meeting Jan. 15 of this year, edging UNF by just two points at home ... UNF defeated Jacksonville at JU last season in the last meeting between the two teams at Swisher Gymnasium ... the was a 10-point win for the Ospreys in the ASUN Championship Quarterfinals back in 2020.
STETSON: Stetson paces the all-time series, 21-13 ... Stetson has won the last two meetings, both coming at UNF ... the last time UNF and Stetson played in DeLand was a 62-60 win for the Ospreys March 2, 2020.

LAST TIME VS. JACKSONVILLE (1.15.22)
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Ospreys led for over 16 minutes of the second half, but it was the final few that counted as North Florida women's basketball was edged late by the visiting Dolphins, 52-50, Saturday, Jan. 15 in round one of the River City Rumble.

LAST TIME VS. STETSON (1.8.22)
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's basketball (7-7, 0-2 ASUN) outscored the visiting Stetson Hatters (8-7, 1-1 ASUN) in quarters three and four, but Stetson's 19-point differential in the second frame proved to be too much to recover from as UNF dropped its ASUN home opener, 73-62, Saturday, Jan. 8.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
JACKSONVILLE: The Dolphins are 15-10 and 8-6 in conference play, putting up a big season despite being picked to finish last in the ASUN Preseason Coaches Poll ... JU plays strong defense, holding teams to 36.4 field goal percentage, 38th-best in the nation ... JU has forced 19.32 turnovers for game, 34th in the nation ... Taylor Hawks and DeShari Graham lead the way for JU offensively as the two Dolphins to average double-digit scoring.
STETSON: Stetson is 16-11 and 9-5, standing in third in the ASUN ... Stetson is the only team to have defeated FGCU in conference play ... the Hatters handed No. 20 FGCU a 58-55 loss at Alico Arena, snapping FGCU's 33-game conference winning streak ... Tatiana Streun and Yazz Wazeerud-Din are both averaging 11.6 points per game ... head coach Lynn Bria won her 400th game in the win against FGCU.

COSIDA ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT
Thursday Jazz Bond was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team, becoming the first Osprey in the program's Division I-era to earn that honor. She is the first since UNF Hall of Famer Nancy Miller.

OUT HUSTLE
5-8 guard Rhetta Moore is one of the best rebounding guards in the league. While playing on the perimeter, she hunts down long rebounds and last game she recorded a 13-rebound and 11- point double-double. Her 13-rebound game against FGCU was a career-high total.
