JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's basketball (1-0) debuted on the new CSI Companies Court and brought home a season-opening victory against Warner (1-2), 92-63, on Monday evening at UNF Arena.
Kaila Rougier had a career night to start off her sophomore campaign with her first-ever double-double as an Osprey with 10 points and 10 rebounds. She was just shy of the triple-double mark, as she had seven total assists against the Royals.
The Ospreys outscored Warner, 32-7, in the fourth quarter, including nine points scored by
Jaelyn Swann, to run away with the 29-point win to open the season.
Lyric Swann joined her sister with a stellar Osprey debut leading the team with 18 points, while also playing well-rounded ball with five rebounds, four assists and four steals.
