Women's Basketball Falls in Road Opener at Wisconsin

Lyric Swann Paced Ospreys With 16 Points

MADISON, Wis. - North Florida women's basketball (1-1) suffered its first defeat on the year on the road against Wisconsin (2-1), 77-54, on Sunday afternoon at the Kohl Center.

The Ospreys jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter and hung around through the first half, but late breaks for the Badgers were too much to overcome. UNF once again had all 11 players see playing time in their second game of the season, while also having nine of them record a field goal.

Lyric Swann paced all Ospreys in scoring for a second consecutive game with 16 points in 35 minutes played. She was the only UNF player with double-digit scoring and was one of two players with five or more rebounds.
