All 13 Ospreys Log Minutes in Road Trip Finale at No. 15/13 Kentucky

LEXINGTON, Ky. - North Florida sent all 13 Ospreys on to the floor and got a 17-point effort from Jarius Hicklen as UNF dropped its road trip finale to No. 15/13 Kentucky (4-2) in front of a reported crowd of just under 20,000 Wednesday afternoon.

It was UNF's (1-4) second game this year against a squad ranked in the top five of the Associated Press Preseason Poll. Hicklen also became the latest Osprey to reach 100-career three-pointers in the Navy and Gray after drilling four more at Rupp Arena.

Mt. Sterling, Ky., native Carter Hendricksen had a chance to play in front of a large group of friends and families, logging 22 minutes and seven points in the effort.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
1st Half
  • Hicklen scored UNF's first five points as the Ospreys trailed 10-5 at the first media timeout … Kentucky went on a 9-4 run to take a 19-9 lead with 12:15 to go in the first half …   Hicklen paced the Ospreys with eight points in the first half, but Kentucky opened up its lead heading into the break thanks to a 7-for-15 mark from beyond the arc.

2nd Half
  • All 13 Ospreys saw time in the second half, with Trent Coleman making the most of his six minutes by tallying six points and five boards … Hicklen stayed hot, posting nine points, although the Wildcats remained in front despite UNF keeping a single-digit point deficit for the second session.
