DUBLIN, Ireland - North Florida women's basketball (1-2) made a late push down 15 points in the fourth quarter to bring it within one possession, but fell short against Rider (2-2), 67-76, on Friday evening at the National Basketball Arena.
The Ospreys were behind for the majority of the game against the Broncs, but found opportunities defensively in the fourth to make it close. UNF had chances to tie the game with under two minutes left, but Rider put the game out of reach with free throws late.
Brianna Livingston surpassed her career-high marks for both points and rebounds, as she totaled 16 points and six rebounds on the night.
Lyric Swann also had high-scoring numbers with 18 points, which is her third straight game with over 16 points.

First Half: Rider jumped out to a 5-0 start before Livingston converted on a turnaround jumper to put the Ospreys on the board...UNF scored three consecutive field goals to drop the deficit to one nearing the end of the first quarter...
Helena Rafnsdottir made the fast break layup just seconds into the second quarter to bring it within four points...another run was made with eight straight points that included two three-pointers from
Jaelyn Swann to take the lead...Rider made a late run as well to close the first half with the Ospreys down five.
Second Half: Ospreys opened the second half with six straight points before went on a run to extend their lead to 13 points...
Emma Broermann stopped the bleeding with a layup in the paint with three minutes left in the third...a pair of free throws from Livingston made it a 12-point game going into the fourth...UNF and Rider exchanged buckets at the start of the fourth with baskets coming from Livingston and L. Swann...within two minutes, UNF put together a run that cut the Rider lead from 13 to four points behind suffocating defense on full-court pressure...the Ospreys had brought it down to a one possession game, but free throws from Rider late sealed the game in favor of the Broncs.

- J. Swann joined her sister with 12 points, as the sisters combined for 30 points, 12 rebounds and five assists.
- Broermann reached 11 points as the fourth UNF player to score double-digit points, to go along with six boards.
- UNF dominated points off turnovers on Friday night holding the 28-11 margin over the Broncs.
- They also had the advantage in the paint with 34 points compared to Rider's 24 total.
