JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's tennis took on two SEC programs in its fall home debut as the Ospreys earned wins in doubles and singles play against Georgia and LSU Friday, Oct. 28 from the UNF Tennis Complex.
Kit Gulihur and
Isabel Oliveira picked up a ranked win, downing the No. 46 nationally-ranked pair out of Georgia in doubles.
Gulihur and Oliveira started off the day with a 6-2 win against No. 46 Ania Hartel and Guillermina Grant of Georgia.
Kendall Nash was strong in her matchup against LSU's Mia Rabinowitz, downing the Tigers' graduate student, 7-5, 6-4.
Jasmin Makela was on the cusp of adding a singles win to her ledger as she was just one game away from defeating LSU's Nikita Vishwase.
Annabelle Davis also logged time on the court Friday, taking on Meg Kowalski.
UNF continues with day two of three tomorrow morning from the UNF Tennis Complex.
