
External Operations Announces Series of Staff Additions

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida Athletics' newly organized external operations team is excited to announce the addition of multiple staff members as well as the creation of a series of new positions within the department.
"We're excited about the additions to our external operations staff," Associate AD for External Operations Kaitlin Parsons said. "I love getting to see our staff grow individually, while taking what we do in marketing, strategic communications, and creative content to a new level."
UNF Athletics external operations includes marketing, development, ticketing, broadcasting, content creation and strategic communications. The staff additions include full-time and graduate assistants across marketing, ticketing, content creation and communications.
Noah Thomas - Digital Content Manager
A '904 native', Noah Thomas joined UNF Oct. 17 as digital content manager. Thomas will assist in generating creative content involving videography, photography, graphic design and much more related to content produced for social media, web and in-house productions.
"Noah brings tons of talent and creativity to our department," Parsons said. "We were very intentional about finding the right person to fill this creative role for us and Noah stood out. He has made an impact from his first day. I have no doubt Osprey Nation will love the content Noah produces."
After graduating from Ponte Vedra High School, Thomas went on to earn his bachelor's degree from the University of Florida. Thomas gained experience helping with ESPN Gainesville (98.1 FM) and Gator Vision, working as a video editor, writer. A passionate Jacksonville Jaguars fan, Thomas created video content that has received high acclaim on social media in the Jacksonville Jaguars social media world.
Ian Bolger - Assistant Director of Strategic Communications
After joining UNF as a graduate assistant in strategic communications during August of 2021, Ian Bolger was promoted to the assistant director of strategic communications in September of 2022.
Bolger serves as the communications contact for the men's soccer, men's and women's golf, softball and women's basketball programs. Bolger helps aid in content creation, creative content asset management, public relations efforts, statistics and other game management duties.
"Ian showed tremendous growth over his first year at UNF during the 2021-22 season as he worked as a graduate assistant," Assistant AD for Strategic Communications Brock Borgeson said. "Ian has a natural understanding and passion for the field of strategic communications, adding quality content and coverage for our teams. I'm excited to see his growth and understanding of the profession expand to new levels."
Bolger joined the Ospreys after working as a sports information student assistant for two years at Florida State University. Prior to that, Bolger spent a summer working as the social media and media relations coordinator with the Florida Roots semi-professional soccer team based out of Panama City, Fla. In 2021, Bolger was nominated for Florida State's Student Employee of the Year honoree.
A native of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Bolger earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees from Florida State.
Lindsey Cannon and Meghan-Grace Gibson - Marketing Graduate Assistants
Lindsey Cannon joined the UNF athletics department as a practicum student in August of 2021 before serving as an intern the following semester and eventually moving into her current role as a graduate assistant. At UNF, Cannon assists with marketing initiatives, as well as fan and campus engagement efforts.
A native of Orange Park, Fla., Cannon earned her bachelor's degree in sports management with a minor in marketing from the University of North Florida in May 2022. She is now earning her degree in EdTech, Training, and Development. Prior to UNF, Cannon also served as an operations assistant at a gym.
Meghan-Grace Gibson joined the UNF Ospreys in August 2022. She assists in the development and execution of marketing, promotional, and fan experience efforts at UNF.
Before UNF, Gibson worked as an athletics marketing intern for four years at the University of West Florida. While working in athletics, she was also West Florida's emcee for all volleyball and basketball games. Additionally, Gibson worked for West Florida's recreation department as facility operations & special events staff. In the summer of 2020, she served as a social media intern for the Clay Education Foundation.
Gibson graduated from the University of West Florida in May 2022 with a bachelor's degree in communication with a minor in sports management. She is now earning her master's degree in communication management with a concentration in leadership.
"Lindsey and Meghan-Grace bring a lot of energy and new ideas to the way we approach marketing and promotions," Parsons said. "Their work ethic and passion to help elevate UNF Athletics is exciting as we head into a year with additional resources to provide a great fan experience."
Ethan Hray and Natavia Reddick - Strategic Communications Graduate Assistant
Ethan Hray joined the strategic communications staff in August of 2022 as a graduate assistant, serving as the communications contact for swimming, while acting as the secondary contact with women's soccer.
Hray initially joined the Ospreys as a student intern in August of 2021, working primarily with broadcasting and production while assisting with sports information. After graduating, Hray became a game day assistant in a part-time role, mainly doing camera and production work for UNF sporting events. In August of 2022, he was promoted to graduate assistant, taking on a more advanced role within sports information.
A native of Spring Hill, Fla., Hray earned his bachelor's degree in communication studies with a minor in marketing in 2021. He is currently earning his master's degree in communication management with a concentration in public management.
Natavia Reddick joined the North Florida staff in August of 2022, taking on the role as strategic communications graduate assistant. Reddick aids with communications efforts for the cross country and track and field programs, while assisting with other sports, broadcasts and creative efforts.
Reddick graduated from Jacksonville University with a degree in communication and film. At JU, Reddick worked as a sports broadcaster, streaming NCAA sports for ESPN+. Reddick had the opportunity to work as the public relations and finance coordinator for the Jacksonville University Radio Station, managing the Dolphin Radio's social media platforms. There she worked alongside the professor to teach students how to operate their radio shows.
During her senior year, Reddick interned for the Jacksonville Giants, an American Basketball Association team in the North Florida region, where she managed their social media platforms, conducted interviews and captured game day photos.
A native of Jacksonville, Fla., she is currently earning her master's degree in Criminal Justice. Reddick loves to produce engaging videos and capturing high-quality images. She is currently working as a strategic communications graduate assistant for UNF Athletics.
"Natavia and Ethan have already made an impact in the areas of strategic communications, broadcast and creative content," Borgeson said. "Ethan returns after contributing greatly as an intern and game day staff member throughout the 2021-22 season, adding experience specific to UNF. He's contributed with his soccer acumen this past fall and also jumped in and served as a color commentator on our ESPN+ broadcasts."
