NASHVILLE, Tenn. - North Florida men's soccer (2-7-3, 1-3-2 ASUN) showed strong defense with great effort in the first half, but three Bisons goals in seven minutes was too much to overcome at Lipscomb (11-1-2, 6-0-0 ASUN) on Saturday night.
The Ospreys held one of the highest scoring offenses in the nation scoreless for the first 60 minutes, while facing a season-high 18 total shots, including seven on goal. UNF was the first team since No. 5 Kentucky on Sept. 20, to hold the Bison scoreless in the first half.

- The Osprey defense still stood tall in the final minutes of the game after denying a few more shots, but it wasn't enough with the game ending 3-0 in favor of the Bison.

FROM THE MOUTH OF MARINATOS
"We played a great first half. We were unlucky not to get a goal on two set pieces. In the second half we made some critical mistakes leading to the first goal on the corner. After that, we stopped competing the same way and gave up two quick goals to go down, 3-0. Lipscomb is a very good team and very dangerous up front. We have to compete for a full 90 minutes. We still control our own destiny in the league. We have to bounce back and be collective heading into a non-conference match on Tuesday at College of Charleston."
