JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's tennis continues a gauntlet of a schedule to open the 2022 spring season as it goes to the Georgia Intercollegiate Tennis Association Kick-Off Weekend in Athens, Ga., Friday and Saturday.
UNF opens against Georgia Friday, Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. before turning around to face either Iowa or Mississippi State Saturday, Jan. 29.
The ITA Kick-Off Weekend features 60 teams across 15 sites, all competing for a chance to advance to the ITA National Women's Indoor Championships Feb. 11-14 in Madison, Wis.
Only four courts at a time will be available due to the matches being moved indoor. Singles will commence with four singles courts, followed by the remaining two.

Kit Gulihur reeled in her second career ASUN Player of the Week honor Tuesday, Jan. 25 ... she is 7-0 in singles play if you take into account her fall season ... she defeated Florida's McCartney Kessler in the opening match of the year at UF Sunday, Jan. 23.

Against ranked opponents this season North Florida is a combined 3-3 in doubles play and 1-1 in singles competition ... North Florida won in its last match against an SEC opponent, defeating No. 25 Ole Miss in the 2021 NCAA Championship First Round.
