1. Last Time Out
FORT WORTH, Texas - Four Ospreys reached double figures in kills for the first time since October of 2019 in UNF's 3-1 win against Louisiana Tech Friday, Sept. 10. North Florida also had four players reach double-digit digs as the Navy and Gray overcame a one-set deficit to close out its stay at the Fight in the Fort.
2. Series History
UNF will meet two of its opponents this weekend for the first time ... North Florida goes up against MTSU and Seton Hall for the first time in series history ... the Ospreys and Panthers meet for the fourth time ... FIU leads the all-time series, 2-1 ... the Panthers and Ospreys competed in a marathon match Sept. 14 of 2019 ...
Julianna Askew dished out 70 assists and
Gabby O'Connell had 29 kills, but FIU just edged the Ospreys, 3-2.
3. Many Hands Make Light Work
So far this season, six different Ospreys have led the team in kills for a match ... during Friday's 3-1 win against Louisiana Tech, North Florida had four players with double figure kills and four with double-digit digs ... UNF's quartet of players with at least 10 kills marked the first time the Navy and Gray reached such a marker since a 3-1 win against Kennesaw State Oct. 27, 2019 ...

Maddie Boyd have all paced the Ospreys at least once in kills this season ... at TCU's Fight in the Fort, Hollingsworth-Santana led UNF with 16 kills, Boyd paced the team against TCU and McKnight tied a career high in the win against La Tech.

Multiple Ospreys are climbing UNF's all-time record ranks …
Gabby O'Connell is at 1,248 kills, just 46 short of Emily Kohler for fifth all-time … she just cracked into the top 15 for sets played with 415 … she ranks third in service attempts and attack attempts …
Rocio Moro surpassed Jenna Thomas (2003-06) for ninth all-time in digs … Moro has 1,189 digs, 29 short of Brittany Runo (1995-98) … her 5.04 digs/set is top in UNF history and is 0.98 digs/set greater than second all-time … she also touts a .961 reception percentage, the third best in program history and best mark in program history for those with over 1,000 receptions …
Julianna Askew is nearing sixth all-time for assists, just 31 helpers shy of Madilyn McCarty's mark of 2,291 … the setter is third all-time for assists/set at 9.58.
5. Double Trouble
UNF has combined for seven double-doubles this season … Dariana-Hollingsworth-Santana paces the team with four,
Annie Antar has tallied two and
Julianna Askew posted one … the Ospreys had two with a double-double in the same match during the 3-1 win against Louisiana Tech … UNF has achieved the rare feat of having two setters on the same team with at least one double-double with Antar and Askew doing so.

UNF has the best record to start a season since 2003 ... the Ospreys tied the program record for wins to open the year with seven consecutive triumphs ... North Florida played 13 different Ospreys in the match against Houston Baptist Thursday ... North Florida is undefeated at home and in neutral site contests ... 15 of the 17 on UNF's roster has seen the court this year … UNF is 8-0 when posting a better hitting percentage than its opponents … North Florida has won all matches that have gone to four or five sets … North Florida has posted more digs than its opponent in eight of nine matches.

FIU: The Panthers are 2-5 ...
