UNF - 31' | Kayla Bond (Thais Reiss)
CSU - 43' | Jenea Knight (Katie Carnes)

HOW IT HAPPENED
- North Florida came out of aggressively to start the match, earning a shot attempt in the opening minutes
- Thais Reiss got the Ospreys on the board in the fourth minute, taking a pass from Ariana Munoz down the sideline and dribbling hard into the box where she slid a shot low inside the left post
- The Ospreys doubled their advantage in the 31st minute, when Reiss nodded a ball off out of a group to the feet of Kayla Bond, who laced a shot into the upper corner for the 2-0 lead
- UNF nearly added more goals over the next few minutes as Jess Camken and Morgan Robertson had quality attempts turned away on lunging saves by the CSU keeper
- The Bucs got a goal back late in the first half as Jenea Knight tracked down a long service and was able to get a goal on a 1v1 situation
- Reiss notched the Ospreys best scoring chance of the second half, but her low driven shot in the 58th minute sailed just wide
- UNF's defense held the CSU offense without a shot attempt for most of the final period but the Bucs did create a pair of opportunities in the closing moments
- Osprey keeper Mercedes Sapp made a smothering, diving recover of a ball at the top of the box in the 87th minute and then stonewalled a point black shot attempt from 8 yards out in the final minute to secure the victory

QUICK KICKS
- Reiss has now scored in four staight contests and leads the team with five goals on the season | It marks her 38th career goal, moving her just two goals shy of 2nd all-time at UNF | Her assist marked the 18th of her career giving her a share of the program's D1era record (tied with UNF Hall of Famer Carolina Lencina)

FAULCONER TALE
"I thought we played some of our best soccer for about 40 minutes, but for some reason we then strayed from how we want to play. Give credit to Charleston Southern. They came out with a great game plan and defensively did a nice job of absorbing pressure and hitting us on the counter. We are still searching to play a complete game and we will have that opportunity next Sunday at Florida." - Head coach Eric Faulconer
