JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's tennis finishes up the regular season slate with a pair of road tests this weekend.
UNF plays at FGCU Saturday before finishing up the weekend at #9 UCF.
1. Last Time Out
DeLAND, Fla. - Tied 3-3, Stetson got the edge in a three-set tiebreaker at singles slot number two as the UNF men's tennis team (6-10, 2-3 ASUN) dropped a grinder at Stetson, 4-3, Wednesday, April 7.
The match lasted over three and a half hours, with four of six singles courts going to three sets.
2. Series History
FGCU: UNF leads the all-time series 10-8 … the series dates back to 2001 … FGCU has had the upperhand in four of the last five contests … the last time these two teams met in Fort Myers was back in 2019.
UCF: The head-to-head series with UCF is deadlocked, 8-8 … these two teams first met in 1992 … UNF dropped a home contest with UCF February 20 of this season … the last meeting at UCF was Feb. 7, 2018.

Dominik Barton has received a singles national ranking in each of the last two ITA Division I singles polls … Barton came in ranked 116 in the March 25 poll and a week later he moved up to 106 … he was one of two ASUN men's tennis student-athletes to be included in the poll … the sophomore is 9-7 at one singles this year and is 4-1 in ASUN play.
