Behind the Line Score
- UNF raced out to a 4-0 lead after scoring two in the first and second inning.
- In the first, Aidan Sweatt opened with a single, Tanner Clark doubled and Alex Kachler scored Sweatt with a lineout sac fly to right. Trey Spratling-Williams plated Clark with an RBI groundout.
- Isaiah Byars fell behind 0-2 before being hit by a pitch to open the second. After a strikeout, Abraham Sequera skied a fly ball that got lost in the sun, landing down the right field line for a double. Sweatt scored Byars with an RBI groundout and Kachler scored Sweatt with a double.
- UNF turned a key double play to get in the way of an FGCU rally in the sixth. The Eagles got two more on, although Roca dialed in an inning-ending strikeout.
- Austin Bogart was hit by a pitch, Sequera roped a single to center and Sweatt laced a base knock back up the box to score Bogart for a 5-0 lead.
- An infield single, a pair of hit batsmen and an Ian Farrow three-run double cut UNF's lead to 5-3.
- FGCU's Brian Ellis tagged a two-RBI double in the eighth, tying the game at 5-5. Bogart, Sequera and Byars completed a nice 9-6-5 relay to get Ellis as he tried to take third base.
- The Eagles scored the deciding two runs in the top of the 10th. Ellis provided a go-ahead double and Garcia tacked on an insurance run with an RBI single.
