JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Regular season play concludes for UNF volleyball with two matches against Stetson Friday and Saturday.

UNF has already secured a chance to host the ASUN Quarterfinals after Stetson's loss to Jacksonville Wednesday night.

Admission and COVID-19 Policies
All matches at the UNF Arena for indoor volleyball this season are free admission and open to the public and UNF students with general admission seating.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Despite a 2-1 deficit, UNF volleyball (8-8, 7-3 ASUN) overturned Jacksonville (2-11, 0-9 ASUN), 3-2, thanks to a series of season highs and scorching hot offense down the stretch. 

2. Series History
The series between Stetson and UNF dates back to 1992 … UNF owns a 22-11 series record, going 11-5 at home … the Hatters have won four of the last five meetings … North Florida pulled off a reverse sweep in a win February 25 … Stetson won the most recent meeting, 3-0, February 26.

3. What's at Stake
North Florida is one game out of first place for the ASUN South Division at 7-3 in the ASUN  … two wins gives UNF its most wins in the ASUN since going 11-7 in 2012.

A number of milestones and steps up the UNF statistical rankings are on deck for Ospreys … graduate student Gabby O'Connell is one match shy of 100 matches played for her career … last weekend she passed Kaley Read for second in UNF DI history for kills (1,139) … O'Connell is 18 digs shy of becoming the second player in UNF DI history to notch 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs … Rocio Moro is currently first in UNF DI history for digs per set with 5.17 … she also has 962 digs, seventh in UNF DI history … setter Julianna Askew is fourth in the DI era for assists with 1,865 … she is behind Madilyn McCarty who is third with 2,291 … outside hitter Solimar Cestero has 773 kills … she eclipsed Dagnija Medina for seventh in UNF DI history.

5. Scouting Report
Stetson is 5-6 and 4-6 in the ASUN … the Hatters were swept in consecutive matches by FGCU last weekend before falling to JU Wednesday  … the Hatters play staunch defense, ranking first in the league in digs per set (19.23) and solo blocks (24) … Stetson is eighth in assists and ninth in service aces … the Hatters have played only 10 matches this season, the fewest of any ASUN team, six fewer than UNF's 16 … Chelcie Spence leads the ASUN with 5.57 digs/set.
