JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - UNF volleyball begins a four-game home stand with matches against crosstown rival Jacksonville Friday and Saturday.

UNF is 5-3 in ASUN play, good for one game back of first place in the ASUN South Division. The Ospreys are fourth in the league standings if you include the ASUN North Division teams.

Friday night's game counts toward the year's River City Rumble tally.

Admission and COVID-19 Policies
All matches at the UNF Arena for indoor volleyball this season are free admission and open to the public and UNF students with general admission seating. 

1. Last Time Out
FORT MYERS, Fla. - After sweeping the ASUN South Division leading FGCU Eagles (8-2, 6-2 ASUN) Saturday, UNF (6-8, 5-3 ASUN) started Sunday with a 25-21 first set win. The Eagles rebounded to win the next three frames though, taking game two of the weekend.

2. Series History
UNF leads the all-time series, 24-17 … North Florida is 13-5 against JU at UNF Arena … head coach Kristen Wright is 6-0 against JU in her career … similarly, UNF is on a six-match winning streak against the Dolphins.

3. History Makers
UNF defeated FGCU, 3-0, March 6 making it the first time in program history UNF has defeated FGCU twice in the same season … it's also the first time UNF has won at FGCU and the second time in series history that UNF has swept FGCU … North Florida also won 3-1 February 14.

4. Milestone Watch
A number of milestones have been reached this season … graduate student Gabby O'Connell surpassed 1,000-career kills and is nearing 1,000 digs, sitting at 956 … she would become just the second Osprey in UNF DI history to be in the 1,000-kill, 1,000-dig club … O'Connell is three matches played short of 100 for her career … only 12 Ospreys in UNF DI history have played at least 100 matches … Rocio Moro is seventh all-time in UNF DI history for digs with 906 … Julianna Askew recently surpassed 1,700 assists, eclipsing Carinne Turner for fourth all-time in UNF DI history … she is at 1,772 for her career.

5. Scouting Report
Jacksonville enters at 2-9 and 0-7 in ASUN play … JU's last win was a 3-0 sweep of Georgia Southern February 2 … Maggie Couture is in her first season as head coach of the Dolphins … JU is second to last in hitting percentage in the ASUN … JU is third in digs/set … UNF has already swept Jacksonville twice this season.
