UNF Ties Program DI-Era Single Season Wins Record
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida volleyball (22-4, 11-3 ASUN) won its tenth straight game against Jacksonville (4-21, 1-12 ASUN), downing the Dolphins, 3-1, to tie a UNF DI-era single season wins mark with their 22nd victory of the year Saturday, Nov. 6.
The Ospreys also tied a UNF DI-era single season ASUN wins mark with their 11th conference triumph of the season.Â

- Set 1: A 5-0 run to widen a 16-10 lead keyed the Ospreys to the first set … UNF hit .308, while holding JU to .077 hitting and 10 attack errors … Gabby O'Connell paced North Florida with four kills in the set … Bre Walp and Solimar Cestero had two blocks apiece.
- Set 2: The second set was tied 11 times, with UNF working a pair of shots at set point despite trailing by as much as 7-13 … Rocio Moro dropped in an ace to make it 25-24, but JU evaded two set points.
- Set 3: The Ospreys responded in full fashion, never trailing behind 16 kills and only two errors to take the third set by 11 … Grace Youngblood heated up on the service line to add to the strong third frame.
- Set 4: Tied 23-23, the Ospreys claimed the last two points thanks to a block from Walp and Cestero before Walp sealed the deal with an emphatic kill … the Ospreys showed tremendous fight in the fourth, rallying from down 11-16.Â
