ASUN POSTSEASON AWARDS
UNF had three different student-athletes earn ASUN Volleyball Postseason honors.

-Rocio Moro (Defensive Player of the Year and All-ASUN First Team)
-Dariana Hollingsworth-Santana (All-ASUN First Team)
-Annie Antar (ASUN All-Freshmen Team)

Moro is the first player in UNF history to be named ASUN Defensive Player of the Year in consecutive seasons. She is also the second in ASUN history to take home the award in consecutive years. She is a two-time All-ASUN First Team selection as well, the only in program history.

Dariana Hollingsworth-Santana took home All-ASUN First Team honors to join Moro on the squad, helping UNF post two on the first team in the same season for the first time since the 2012 campaign.

Annie Antar is the 10th Osprey in UNF's tenure in the ASUN to be named to the all-freshmen team. Antar posted 400 of her assists during UNF wins and joins teammates Solimar Cestero, Rocio Moro, Julianna Askew and Gabby O'Connell as Ospreys who have been named to the ASUN All-Freshmen squad.

UNSTUCK IN NEUTRAL
North Florida is a perfect 6-0 when playing neutral site contests.

UNF has defeated Wofford, Stony Brook, Houston Baptist, Louisiana Tech, North Alabama and Central Arkansas in neutral site contests this season.

THE WALL
Middle blocker Bre Walp finally became eligible in the UNF Career Record books for the blocks/set season record after surpassing 100 sets played this season.

The middle blocker is third in UNF history for blocks/set in a season with 1.10. Her total is currently the best for a single season in UNF's DI era.

Walp's 136 blocks this season is the most by an Osprey in UNF's DI-era for a single season, and the most in the league. She ranks fifth in the NCAA for total blocks.

THE OSPREY CURTAIN
UNF has been racking up the ASUN Defensive Player of the Week awards this season.

So much so that the Ospreys set a conference record for the most ASUN Defensive Player of the Week awards earned in consecutive weeks, winning all four thus far in 2021.

The previous record was three, shared by FGCU and ETSU.

ASUN Defensive Player of the Week Awards:
-Bre Walp (Aug. 30, 2021)
-Rocio Moro (Sept. 7, 2021)
-Rocio Moro (Sept. 13, 2021)
-Bre Walp (Sept. 20, 2021)
-Rocio Moro (Oct. 25, 2021)

Moro also made history for the ASUN after claiming three more ASUN Defensive Player of the Week awards during this fall season. The San Juan, P.R., native is the first player in conference history to earn seven ASUN Defensive Player of the Week honors.

If you combine her ASUN Freshman of the Week honors, Moro has tallied 11 weekly awards to go with her Spring 2021 ASUN Defensive Player of the Year award, 2021 ASUN Defensive Player of the Year honor and Fall 2021 ASUN Preseason Defensive Player of the Year award.

Moro was recognized as a Volleyballmag.com All-Freshman Team Honorable Mention in December of 2019. She's also picked up Spring 2021 ASUN First Team honors and 2019 ASUN All-Freshman squad laurels. The libero is the UNF all-time record holder for career digs/set (4.96).

Walp's numbers are eye-popping this year as she leads a slew of strong blockers. The middle blocker has 136 blocks. Consistency has been paramount for her as she has put up at least two blocks in every match, while recording five matches with seven blocks or more.
